US Drone Found, NATO Exit from Iraq Completed Türkiye’s Defense Ministry confirmed Thursday that an unmanned US-origin submarine was neutralized after drifting ashore in Ordu’s Black Sea coast due to engine failure. Spokesman Rear Adm. Zeki Akturk said risks from unmanned naval and aerial vehicles linked to the Russia-Ukraine war are being “closely monitored,” urging fishermen and seafarers to report suspicious objects. Akturk also announced the successful evacuation of Turkish troops from Iraq as NATO withdrew its mission, stressing Türkiye’s continued role in supporting peace and stability across a wide geography.
