Government spokesperson Pingdwendé Gilbert Ouédraogo says the decision is part of the pan-African vision of Transitional President Ibrahim Traoré. Burkina Faso has announced free visa processing for nationals of all African countries as part of a series of measures adopted by the Council of Ministers at its weekly meeting chaired by Transitional President Captain Ibrahim Traoré. Government spokesperson Pingdwendé Gilbert Ouédraogo, on Thursday, said the Council took the decision as part of the pan-African vision of Captain Traoré . “From now on, any citizen from an African country wishing to go to Burkina Faso will not pay any amount to cover their visa fees,” said Security Minister Mahamadou Sana. According to Sana, the decree aims to “strengthen the free movement of the African people and their goods in the Burkinabe territory and, on the other hand, African integration.” However, he clarified that the new arrangement “does not mean visa exemption.” Official dress reforms
